Over the last 20+ years, BSN has become one of the Bay Area’s expert full time nanny placement services.

We believe it’s important to do one thing and do it well. So, Bay Super Nannies has specialized exclusively in full time nanny placement (or temporary of two weeks or longer). With one simple service, we are able to uncomplicate the process of finding and staffing the perfect full time nanny for your family.

To make things even simpler, our service has one flat fee upon hiring a great BSN nanny… No up-charges, percentages of pay, or annual fees to keep your nanny on staff (Yes, some agencies really do charge you yearly!)

At BSN, you pay a low registration fee to meet nannies, and when you find a great match, the one-time placement fee is all-inclusive, and includes resources like a work agreement and interview questions, all screening, full background checks, and everything in between. AND, it’s only due if you decide to move forward with one of our wonderful nannies (because we truly believe in our service and know you’ll love the nanny we find for you.)

    Consultation

    To kick off our process, you will get on a call with our founder, Becky Meyer, to discuss your specific needs, your family, and other important details that will inform her nanny search.

  • Step Two

    Sourcing and Vetting your Options

    With the details you provide, and her years of expert knowledge in nanny sourcing, Becky will then curate a selection of nannies that may be a good fit for your needs, from her vast Bay Area network - including nannies she’s successfully placed before.

  • Step Three

    Interviews and Screening

    Becky will provide you with profiles (including reference notes and essay questions) of nannies for you to interview, all already vetted and qualified for your needs after completing all screenings (including family compatibility!) on your behalf, curating a short list of top candidates for you to choose from so you can interview and then trial day with those you like.

  • Step Four

    Selection and Background Check

    Once you select the nanny you’d like to proceed with, BSN will complete a thorough background check to ensure your chosen nanny has a clean driving record, no criminal history, is CPR certified, and up to date on vaccines (you may also speak to their references again yourself, if you like).

  • Step Five

    Ensuring the Right Fit, Long Term

    To ensure that your chosen nanny is a good long-term fit for your family, clients receive resources like a sample work agreement, stellar replacement and refund guarantees, and guidance on industry standards, giving peace of mind that support is always a phone call away!

I started BSN in 2002, and since then, I’ve dedicated myself to helping families just like yours find the perfect nanny. What sets BSN apart is a commitment to transparency throughout the entire nanny hiring process — something I deeply value as both a business owner and a parent.

I know firsthand how challenging it can be to find the right caregiver for your family. After all, as a mother of two myself, I’ve experienced both sides of the childcare world. From being a full-time nanny for five years to working as a postpartum doula and newborn specialist, I’ve seen what works — and what doesn’t. More importantly, I understand how personal and emotional the decision can be when hiring someone to care for your child or children. That’s why I’ve created a process that not only focuses on finding a nanny who’s a perfect match but also ensures you feel informed and confident every step of the way.
