Why work with an agency? One reason: pay, duties, and benefits are already verified, so nannies don’t waste their time!

BSN connects great nannies with top-tier jobs — many of which aren’t listed anywhere else — offering clear details on hours, pay, and duties upfront so you never waste time on the wrong fit. You’ll be matched with families who have talked over the job details, pay, and benefits with Becky, the agency owner, ensuring a safe, respectful, and professional process.

As a registered BSN nanny, you’ll always have someone to turn to for support, guidance, and fair job representation that highlights your strengths. Plus, standard benefits like paid vacation, holidays, and guaranteed weekly pay are explained to families on your behalf. TESTIMONIALS

Nannies love working with BSN families

…I want to thank you for your help these few weeks in helping set up interviews. I enjoyed working with you and will definitely recommend you to others needing to find a nanny or position. You are professional but at the same time casual and very personable.

When I started looking for a job I found that some agencies were just a little too “high class” or outright intimidating, and I was excited that you were different in that matter… It was a real pleasure to work with you and I thank you for all your hard work and effort!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Nannies need to have at least 4 years of professional child care experience to apply – such as nannying, extensive babysiting, working in a daycare or preschool or school, camp counselor etc – any paid position that was working with children (including babies and under age 2).

The background checks and quality of nannies are the same, the placement process is the same as other, more expensive agencies… but without a large staff to support and large office to maintain, there is more leeway to keep the fees low.

Many families can’t afford (or don’t want to pay) the more typical agency fee, and by keeping fees lower, it opens up the pool to other great families that wouldn’t otherwise be able to use an agency (or would choose not too). Many of my clients are very enthusiastic about the quality of service they get for the price – and thank me with spectacular Yelp reviews!

Bottom line: I believe in treating people the way that I’d want to be treated – and everyone likes a great service at a reasonable price. By expanding the pool of parents that can afford a nanny agency, that might be struggling in their nanny search while trying on their own – it’s doing my part to make the world (and SF) a better (and more fair) place! I’m a parent raising my children in San Francisco too – I get it!

  • It is always free for nannies to apply and be placed through Bay Super Nannies!  There are no fees of any kind, and you do NOT pay a portion of your salary to the agency.

  • There are many jobs in San Francisco that don’t require a nanny to drive or have a car.  On the Peninsula, a nanny must drive and have a car to apply.

  • No – BSN ONLY refers live-out nannies (nannies who do not live with their employers.)

  • Occasionally!  Feel free to check the jobs page, or call/email to ask…

  • No – by focusing on full time nannies ONLY (full time is 35-45+ hours per week), BSN can offer nannies more choices of great full time jobs in their area!

  • No, I simply refer parents to the Bay Area Night Doulas at www.BayAreaNightDoulas.com, a highly recommended collaboration of night doulas.
